Baby items are in the upstairs hall closet. There have been many great donations. Please use and put in same spot at the end of your stay!
Please keep recycling separated and organized in the pantry and when full stored in the designated recycling/trash room off of the garage deck.
Please put all trash in the recycling/trash room off the garage deck rather than inside garage.
Enjoy the grill please keep it covered when done using, after it has cooled.
Items in garage are to be used by all. Everything now has an easy to find spot, please help us keep things this way.
Much of the furniture at Lansdowne is old wood and made to last with care. Drinks should be placed on coasters, and wet towels should not be left draped over furniture.
Snacks and provisions are part of cabin life, though the wildlife sometimes thinks so too. Please store food carefully and keep containers tightly sealed to discourage unwanted visitors.
Towels, glasses, mugs, and other cabin items tend to wander over the years. Please return things to where they belong so the cabins remain well stocked and ready for the next family to arrive.
Housekeeping is provided between guest visits, with regular collection of trash and recycling during your stay. For visits longer than a week, fresh sheets and towels are available as needed; please check with the housekeeper so supplies remain well shared among the cabins.
Sundays are a quiet day, and housekeeping is not provided. Following larger gatherings, Monday arrivals may experience a later cabin readiness, with check-in available after 5:00 PM if additional cleaning is needed.
On the day of departure, please strip beds and leave used linens and towels neatly at the foot of the bed. Duvet covers and pillow shams may remain in place.
Cabins that have been well cared for are easier to welcome the next family into. In cases where unusual or excessive cleaning is required, additional costs may be passed along to the host family.
